The pasty shop is the first thing I head for when I go back home to Cornwall. I crave them and miss them.
Flaky pastry, chopped or minced steak, onions, swede (rutabaga), potatoes, salt and pepper. Glaze the pasty with egg.

Forgot to mention the cheese and onion ones are delicious too. No meat, cheddar cheese instead. That's my Mum's favorite kind.
