Thanks everyone but was just letting people know I wasn't going to be around and to say Merry x-mas etc. Doing my organisations for the trip and also thought it would be a good idea to have a Christmas thread.
Also nosy to see what everyone else is doing. How things are going etc.

Looks like we're planning on spending Christmas this year with my parents in Truro, and then off to PEI to visit family post-Boxing Day. Then back to Halifax for a wedding on NYE.

I have presents wrapped and packed, just have to pack clothes etc. One more hellish day of Christmas rush work tomorrow.
Mike, You're going to Truro, I'll probably be taking my wife & kids to the original Truro (Cornwall UK) by train for a day. I was born in the hospital there. Pictures of Truro Cathedral etc. below.
In the UK, a city is a town that has a cathedral ...Truro is a small city there.

Getting ready for my trip tomorrow. Great family evening in the woods last night. Home smoked pheasant supper and fireworks. My little boy with Santa Grandad, Perry Munro.
This thread gets a bit quiet over the holidays as we hang up our mash paddles and spend time with our families. Try to post x-mas pictures and updates if you have time. I'll post UK pub pictures if I can.
Merry Christmas!

Thanks Guys!

I saw that movie on Sunday. It was incredible. Carries on from the original Star Wars I saw at the cinema way back. Just like old times, but with an extra kick. Pressed every button, humour, compassion/love, suspense, awe etc. Kathleen and Max (Age 6) loved it also. It was a highlight of Max's life I'm sure, just like the very first one was for me. I didn't think much of the ones in between the first and this one.
Merry Christmas.
