I've made root beer from the extract in my keg but I'd like to make other flavours. Has anyone tried using the Sodastream concentrates? I think a bottle will make about 12 litres so it should work.

Hi! Sorry for the late reply, I was away over XMas, and still catching up with all of the posts.

I've done exactly what you described, and we enjoyed the results. Nothing especially difficult to it, though I added the concentrate to still water, whereas I think the suggestion is to add it to the carbonated water, which is what I'll do next time we try it.

For $6-8, I say go for it!

Thanks, I did end up trying it but like you suggested I made carbonated water in my keg and just poured a glass and added the flavour to it. That way I won't cause off flavours in the keg.
