It’s been a long process. 20 months ago when I started brewing I started claiming the room next to the porch as a beer room. It was a room for bikes, rubber boots, kids outside toys …and the cat’s “shit box”.

Back then I was making Festa West Coast IPA, and bottling in stainless steel water bottles which I washed and sanitised in the dishwasher.
Gradually things got moved out as beer related stuff got moved in.

This morning, I finally moved out the final item …the fucking cat shit box. Every time I went in there it stank and I had to clean it out. I hated it. I put it in a cupboard under the laundry sink.
I put a shelf in my beer room this morning too. Finally! A beer room I can call my own.

Spent the afternoon by the pool drinking my “Poolside Blonde” with friends.

What a great day!

I’ve seen Keith’s beer area where Stanley the beer fridge resides and I thought that was pretty awesome.

Anyone feel like posting pictures of their beer space?

Glad to hear you have a beer room Mark. I'm still working one mine... or atleast permanently move that fucking shit box lol. I move it out frequently to a new location but 2-3 times a week it finds it's way back.

I'm hoping for a garage big enough for a large setup, brew gear, stanley v3, large sofa chairs and a bif screen

I tried to edit bif screen to big... wouldn't let me.

On too of that a nice bar, along with a bunch of items to really call the place my own. It won't be for a few years. But will well be worth the wait... it will also be adjacent to some land bif enough to hold a good campfire and some tents.

Damn! Damn! Damn! what a fantastic idea. Trust Sandy. I have a huge chunk of wall with nothing shiny on it and these competitions are a lot of work.

1) where do you find pimps?
2) How do you tell them from the crowd?
