Oh well so much for new lyrics, but I'm glad to say I will be brewing a nice lager tomorrow morning for a change. Gonna use 12 oz of hops I should have used up long ago, so it should be full of flavour.
Oh I'm back in the saddle again.. out where a friend is a friend and a homebrew is welcome in my hand..

It’s been a long and lonesome road, now I’m back where I belong. Brewing a lager …Brewing a lager … It’s a hoppy one …It’s a hoppy one.

No Problem. I haven't met Tony but hopefully he has a Newfie accent. That, a few beers and the sound up high should fix that. We need some more lines. Put something in there about your beloved Stanley, and how good he's been to you "all these years".

:cheers2:

I don't have a Newfie accent.. everyone else has a Mainland accent.

Funny, when I was in Florida, everyone thought I was British. :spilly:

My lovely kegerator Josephine, never let me down. She never let me down. Those long cold winter nights when my girl’s away with the guy next door (country song right?). It’s me and her. It’s me and her.

I’m sailing on the Brewnosers beer cruise. Sailing far away with a homebrew in my hand. Far away from Lucille. She picked a fine time to leave me, and I picked a fine time to have a beer.

Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
I'm begging of you please don't take my beer.

If it's OK with Stanley, I'm just making one more slight comment. We're drinking my first seriously dry hopped beer ...following Nash's great post on dry hopping, and it's very good (to quote Kathleen ..."it's the best, it's awesome"). It's Nash's fault if I'm a bit tipsy and trying to write country songs.

:NASH:

Thanks Greg. :cheers2:

Great to hear! I've put in my first order with Dave for a kit that requires dry hopping. When you dry hopped did you put them in a sock?

Let 'em float free, you'll definitely get better results (both in the boil and dry hopping).

I threw them in loose (pellets) and pulled the beer off the top of them after 3 days.

Well the beer I have in my hand isn`t imaginary, it sure is real. The last brew I did using citra and it is frigging good.
Time to practice.

Cheers
