I've got a goofy question for the engineering/construction folks. I know you're out there!

Is there a tidy little word that captures both construction and demolition? Something not terribly technical.

As in "Infrastructural Planning and ____________" to replace "Infrastructural Planning, Construction and Demolition".

Thanks!

Renewal implies renovation to me. Hard to sum up construction and demo in one word since they are essentially opposites.

at first I was going to say the same thing, but renovation IS demolition and then construction... renewal just sounds more feely
