Hitch a ride to New Glascow / Pictou Aug 4 or 5?

Anybody travelling from Halifax to (or past) the New Glascow / Pictou area on Aug 4th (Sunday) or 5th (Monday) and has room for a displaced Brewnoser and a suitcase? Trying to scramble my way to the ferry (to walk on and get picked up on the other side).

Thanks Sandy! The sooner I know the better as I'll have to scramble otherwise. I'd love to have a little more definite plan but I can handle last minute if I need to.
