not to be a pain, but according to environment canada, the snow was only supposed to start this morning, and continue until tonight. the prediction of 30-40cm is total by tomorrow morning. http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/warnings ... whx-012700" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I've been looking at the radar/satellite imagery but don't see where it's supposed to be coming from? I normally don't look at the map data, so I could be totally missing something..

A pain?

I was more referring to the visibility.. if they actually had a plow or two on the roads I'd go bombing around no problem, in my FWD Echo :rockin:

If my tires didn't look like a  peel I'd be out bombing around too. I need to figure out if I'm keeping, or getting rid of my truck so I can get a new set of tires!

Driveway shovelled. I hope that's it but I doubt it. I got some new tires last summer (mud & snow) and the truck is a freakin tank in bad weather.

Blustery down this way. Cleaned out the end of the driveway/plow mess, but gonna wait until the blowing stops to get the rest. Meanwhile, the wife made stew and I have a young stout that could do with some drinking.

Just started here a little while ago. Getting nasty now, but I'm not going anywhere.
Bottled a Festa kit for my B-I-L and now sampling my Spruce Ale while a feed of moose ribs
bakes in the oven at 250f with a ton of onions on top.

Going to wait it out before I start up the snow blower.

Me too, and I haven't even started any snow clearing yet. But the idiots across the street from me playing softball don't seem to mind.

Not really too much accumulation here, but what has fallen is all drifting to my one and only door! Got a 3 ft snowbank I keep shovelling out, and it just keeps fillin right back in.....but its finally slowin down some now.

Good amount of snow here in Amherst. Probably about 3 feet at the end of my driveway. Drifts as high as the fence in my back yard.

I had 4 feet of snow in my double car driveway. And another 1.5 feet on my 24x12 foot deck

The worst part was watching people in my neighbourhood with snow blowers while I shovel.

I just came in from helping a young woman stuck on my road. I have no idea how much snow has actually fallen so far, but there are some pretty crazy drifts in the driveway. It's still snowing pretty hard so I won't bother doing the driveway until the morning. I picked up a new toy a couple of weeks ago to replace the snowblower......looks like I'll put it to the test tomorrow morning!

Out here on the coast, my deepest drift was a whole foot. Been raining most of the day.

As Jeff said, its a bloody mess here. The wind has been blowing so much, I can't tell the difference between driveway and yard. I'm not touching the driveway until tomorrow.

Wow Andy. That looks wicked all right.
I just got in from snow blowing my driveway and my 2 neighbors driveways. Wasn't too much to it, but as it is supposed to turn to rain tonight
I figured to get ahead of it now before the freezing rain/rain hits.

Shane, that's a nice machine. I love driving those much better than the side by side.
