Well, I mucked through with a Pump House lager (which was the same as last time I had it at the Townhouse, meh), and Propeller ESB. OK, but I've decided to boycott them, so that was a losing situation. The whole place was booked for Christmas parties, so we were coerced into giving up our crappy little table by the older guy who runs the place. Basically, go sit at the bar, and get a free drink.

Scotches please.

I don't get the allure of that place, or places like them. If I want to drink at an Irish Bar, I'll fucking well go to Ireland. I'm opening a Nova Scotian bar, with Nova Scotian food and Nova Scotian style beer (although inbev would no doubt sue me over that, lol). It will be staffed by Nova Scotians, and every fucking single thing shall be Nova Scotian. No West Coast, British, Czech, French, Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, or freaking Belgian beer. Every single beer shall be a Nova Scotian beer regardless of the type. This whole planet can....

Shitty to hear about the shitty service and beer selection. Scotch sound like the right choice in that situation.

The service wasn't bad as such, but the whole event was poorly planned on their part. They overbooked the reservations and were scrambling for free tables, and really didn't give any notice to people who were going there about what they were doing (Facebook, sign on door, etc.....). The free drinks were actually reasonable for me. Shelley and her niece decided to arm-wrestle on the bar, thus providing great entertainment for all. I had planned to eat though, and the moving around wasn't the greatest for that. Luckily, i didn't really care about eating that much, so there you go. The beer selection rots royally. Can't see me going back on my own accord.

As far as the title, it really didn't have anything to do with Dirty Nelly's I guess. I generally behave that way when I'm trashed.
