Does anybody have any experience with the guy who displays bikes for sale on Morris St at Church St? His name is Karl; he calls his business Better Built Bikes and says he works with Dave at Nauss Bicycles on Agricola to fix up and flip vintage bikes.

Has anybody had any experience with this guy? Heard anything good or bad? My roommate needs a new bike, and I'm taking an interest in her search. There's one she likes being sold by this guy.

I could tell you a lot of history about Karl in person, he used to be part of a not for profit bicycle shop i have volunteered with since 2006. I was told that he was caught cherry-picking parts from the coop and building up bikes and selling for his own benefit, not the mission statement of our organization. He got the boot. a lot of his bikes are franken-bikes. I can probably better help you find something, send me a pm/email, lets talk figure what you're looking for.

A lot of the best bikes I've ever seen are "franken-bikes", but stealing from a not-for-profit is pretty sleazy.
