Re: Happy BrewDay
Very good - thanks. We had La Trappe tripel (aka Konigshoven), Chimay Blue, Chimay Red (my buddy's dad found somewhere in Ontario), Lagunitas Hop Stoopid. I started myself off with Little Sumpin Sumpin (which was quite tasty).
It was my first time trying Chimay Red - I think I prefer it over the Chimay Blue (a little more on the spicy Belgian side and not quite so much dark fruit/fruitcake in the Red). I didn't get to the I&G Highland Cask, but I'm looking forward to it (thanks again).
3 out of 3 of us that tried it could not tell the difference between my Stella Artois clone and the real thing - blindfolded anyway - the homebrew was darker and had a little chill haze. I don't consider myself to a great sense of taste - I'll have to try again sober.

Re: Happy BrewDay
Thanks guys. Had a Star Anise Brown thanks to LiverDance, Wet hopped Alpha Dog (still quite bitter, but not much aroma), and then a Smuttynose IPA. It was a work night, so I couldn't go too crazy! And a chocolate cake/brownie combo with a stein on it.
