Car Parts—Honda Civic Exhaust Manifold
Not sure if we have any car guys on here but figured it was worth a shot.
I'm on the hunt for an exhaust manifold for a 7th generation (01-05) Honda Civic (DX 1.7L manual). I've tried the usual suspects in this part of the Maritimes (Maritime Auto, Blenkhorn's, Bastarache's, etc.) with no luck—all they ones they have are cracked. Does anyone have any ideas of other places I can try to avoid paying the exorbitant price Honda wants for the part ($650+)? Ebay is unfortunately out because my MVI is due the end of the month and it would be cutting it close to get one here in time.
Thanks!

http://www.autopartsway.ca" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is where I get most of my stuff. Prices are usually better than local and they offer free/fast shipping.
Is this your part for $412?

Try Civic Pride Automotive, they specialize in Hondas.

Even better - tell the wife you saved $100 (she'll still be happy) and spend that $100 on brewing gear/ingredients!hogie wrote:Sweet! Can't go wrong with saving $200+!

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

i use this site to search the JY's that are online..... http://www.car-part.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
you might have luck searching some forums (maritimesportcompact.com , lowmotion.org..can't remember the others)
There's a couple decent yards up my way...if they have one, i can pick it up and throw it on the bus for ya. (Capital city auto parts, fredericton 506 453-1260. Hill's auto, oromocto 506-357-5493).

Re: Car Parts—Honda Civic Exhaust Manifold
Just took a quick look and it appears only a couple of the St. John yards have them up that way. Definitely appreciate the offer though.
I think I'm likely going to go with hogie's suggestion and probably snag the new part. I'm finding that the majority of the headers off the 7th gen Civics that are over 120,000km like mine suffer from cracked headers so I'll probably go with new just to avoid any potential issues. Will be much easier to install as well since it won't have any heat/weather warp and will be nice and clean.

Big bargain auto is where I get most of my parts. Cheapest new parts I've found. Manifold might be a non-stock item but may be worth a phone call.
