Wish it was as easy as walking through a dept store haha. Looking for a 16*12 shed. Any recommendations?

I bought a full 16x12 kit from Timbermart in Spryfield 2 years ago. Came with everything you need… nails tape and all. You have to be somewhat handy but as long as someone knows what they're doing, it saves a lot of time and trips to figure out what you need. They are also priced very well

If you go to any of the box stores you can go to the construction desk and ask for plans and a parts list. When I built my shed I got lists from the big three for comparison, ended going with Kent. They'll ask you a few questions about the structure and then they print if off and away you go. If I were you I'd opt for a 2x4 frame instead of 2x3. It'll add a bit of cost, but from experience it's worth it.

I had a contractor off Kijiji build mine. It was only a couple hundred bucks above the lumber costs, and they were done in a day. I put the slab down on my own the weekend before.
I have no idea how to track them down now, it was a few years ago.

A friend got one from a Kijiji contractor, all screws, no nails, well built.
If going with a Kent/HD/Rona kit, I 2nd Dave's thought on 2x4 instead of 2x3.
Also, some of those kits are 24" center, I would personally go with 16" center, way more stable and solid feeling.
Another thought is to make sure the floor is actual plywood, or even tung-n-grove instead of OSB.
I will ask my buddy who built his. It was big enough they couldn't deliver already built, took a day to build.

A fun project if you have time. I think you can get the guys at lumber mart to knock it together for you. Not sure what they charge though.

I built one of these (above link) on a old deck that I was replacing and had removed off of the house. The cost of the lumber was less than $200.00 for the walls/roof.
I clad half of it in metal roofing ($200) and the other half in greenhouse material ($40).
Screws and glue was another $60.

Total cost, not including floor, was $500.00.

I bought the plans from http://www.by-the-sea.com/stimsonmarine/bowroof.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I use it as a solar firewood dryer, it's 12 X12 and holds 3 chords of wood, it works amazingly well. If I stack wood in May/June, the water content is down to 14% by the end of Sept. I also use it as a brewhouse in winter, as I remove firewood, and hang a pulley from the ceiling to lift my brew bag out of the kettle. It's been up for 5 winter's and goin strong.

Neat concept on the bow shed. I'd carry on the boat theme and clad the lower third with lapstrake looking siding. Then sheathe and shingle the roof and front with cedar shakes.

I would be concerned with shakes blowing off with the curve. Clapboard or metal siding would follow the curve better.
