WTB - Commercial Kegerator

I'm in dire need of of a commercial kegerator. I'm looking for a single door one that ideally has 3-4 taps. Even if it' only has 1 or 2 taps, I can switch out the tower. If anyone happens to know someone selling one or if you come across one on Kijiji please let me know. Thanks.

Yeah, saw that one and sent him an email this afternoon.....no reply yet. I'm not sure from his ad if he's willing to sell for cash, or is just looking to swap/trade for something. It's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for as well.

Timely enough, he just responded and will be calling me in an hour. What do you guys feel would be a respectable offer?

My friends bought a very similar unit from the states for around $1000, so I probably wouldn't buy for more than that

At work we bought a dual tower True fridge, two doors, fits like 8 cornies. I think we paid $500 and found it on kijiji. I swapped out the towers for 2 x dual Perlick 630SS and put in an 6 way manifold, etc.

Hard to say what to offer based on the pic, i have seen them go for as low as 400 used if there is wear and as high as 650. I almost bought the same one from a kijiji ad in Moncton during the summer, they wanted 650.

UBC's quote was just shy of $2500 for a 3 tap. I just don't want to spend quite that much.

I don't wtf is going on then unless they're charging a billion for the tower. Did you ask for a price on a True or their own brand? I'm pretty sure their own are around $1100.

I bought one used in good shape for $250, a deal though obviously.

Quote was for their UBC Kegmaster. I didn't get a quote on a True brand though.

Those are garbage by comparison, Costco used to sell them online but I don't see them now, they were $499 or $599 last year.
True @ Costco.c $1599 :

Hahaha you are talking to a guy who built a collar out of 1x6 for his 120$ danby fridge to turn it into the worlds most ghetto kegerator so garbage is a subjective term.

That's right. That's why I said 'by comparison'.

For what its worth that 699 unit has solid reviews from 63 people at 5 stars.

For what it's worth, Bud Light is the most popular beer in the world, outselling its two nearest competitors combined. People don't know shit

I'm guessing it likely has to do with serviceability (though this is just a guess). True (and likely the UBC) can be easily serviced if it's in need of repair - a lot of other fridges are garbage when they break down.

It's worth nothing to me (Or Shane: read the header)
They're fucking awesome for home use. Just not the best idea for commercial use with minions slamming kegs in them etc they'd be destroyed in no time. They're not a commercial unit, made of plastic and not serviceable. If the compressor dies, throw it away.

Sales and reviews are two very different things... case in point for your bud light comment.

Sounds like Nash has personal experience with these units which speaks a lot to their quality, i'm just pointing out that 63 people wrote pretty positive reviews about this unit. I have used it personally as well but only at our annual fundraiser once / year because the venue we rent has this in house. That being said the one i use has been there for 4 years and is abused by the jerks the rent out the place and have never done that kind of thing before and is still ticking.

Too bad the people reviewing it aren't the MILLIONS of people that actually drink it.
