Looking for Swing Top Bottles

Post by cobequidkid » Sat Feb 07, 2015 10:39 am

Hello folks,

I'm a novice homebrewer near Amherst, NS, new to this site as well.

I'm looking to buy a bunch of brown 500ml swing top bottles. Green Grolsch ok as second choice.

Anybody have any for sale?

I can probably hook you up with a couple dozen green Grolsch in exchange for some beer. I'm in Amherst.

Search Kijiji for grolsch, there are lots for sale.
Currently on tap:
1) Festa Brown Ale
2) Festa Pale Ale
3) Best Case Northern Lights
4) Festa Continental Pilsner

In the bucket: Empty
In the carboy: Empty

Buy yourself a 24 and you'll be happy for a weekend. Teach yourself to homebrew and you'll be happy for a lifetime. :)

I picked up a bunch from the recycle place. I think 60 cost me 15$ or 20$?

Jeff,

Sounds good.

I'm brewing using the Best Case kits. Do those meet your standards of palatable beer?

Got some American style Pale Ale that turned out ok. Some Porter that's a bit syrupy tasting from not adding enough water (my first batch). And some Red Irish fresh into bottles.

I'll send you a PM to arrange the details for pick up.

your best bet is definitely the bottle recycle places. We are buying them now in dartmouth, just watch the price they want to sell them for. 2 out of the 3 here sell them for $.30, which is great $18 for 60 , and one of them is ripping people off at $.75 each.
