Gauging interest in a bulk order of pin lock kegs
Swinging through the US on my way to Ontario for Christmas. Found a source of reasonably priced pin locks that is only a few hours out of my way. Picking them up would require hauling my trailer from here to Ontario and back, plus a bunch of hassle, so I thought I'd see if there was interest here from other people on getting in on some. This is all very hypothetical, but I was thinking that if I could bring back extra, and pass them on for a small profit, it could subsidize my own purchase, and make the whole exercise more worthwhile. Hypothetically, would anyone be interested in pin locks if they were available for $40?

CorneliusAlphonse: Is there a specific concern? All the old Corny kegs were made in the USA weren't they? So shouldn't I just be responsible for HST?

Depending on the size of the freezer coming my way from LD I may have 10 pin locks up for grabs as well

Tap 2:
"Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chamber of my brain -
Quaintest thoughts - queerist fancies
Come to life and fade away;
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe

I dunno just buying stuff in US and taking it over the border is something I'd be cautious with. I don't know how that stuff worksjason.loxton wrote:CorneliusAlphonse: Is there a specific concern? All the old Corny kegs were made in the USA weren't they? So shouldn't I just be responsible for HST?

No go on this plan. Decided not to take the trailer on the trip.
