Just got home from picking this up.

I guess I owe you one or two, Sandy! You alerted me to my keg system on Kijiji, and now to my kegerator. I've been running through plans upon plans in my head for a keg fridge and none have worked out. This was an easy and quick fix, and is now in my kitchen, awaiting an as-yet-unbrewed keg o' beer. Had a nice drive into Halifax and along part of the Eastern Shore to get it, too, which ain't half bad for a Wednesday. :)

Glad a Brewnoser was able to pick it up. Now get brewing! And then have us over to celebrate. :)

You got a fantastic deal Kirsten, and when your CO2 runs out you can just take the tank to your friend Ed at NG and exchange it for a full one. I think it's $27.

Thanks guys! And yep, we'll invite everyone over to christen the keg fridge once we get our first all-grain brew done (still building the kit...just need my kettle and bag for BIAB and we're good). So...soon-ish! :)

Congrats. I post that stuff when it comes up. How many Cornies can you get in there?

Looks like 2 Cornies should fit in fairly easily, and then there might be some space on the hump for some of those smaller kegs they sell at NG. I'll play around with it soon and see for sure. Only has the one tap on it right now, but we'll add more later.

Thanks again for posting this, we're really happy to have it! :)

Hm. It appears my spatial reasoning is way off. Reliable sources tell me I can blame my lady parts for this. One corny only. I may be able to shoehorn one of the little kegs in too but, if not, lots of room for bottles so I'll still count it as a win. Since a 30L sanke will fit, and it came with a sanke adapter, I may try that as well.

WOW and that is why I sometimes find Kijiji tough. I called Mike yesterday and told him I wanted it and he said it was mine and was suppose to drop it off this morning to my work. Now that I am calling he isnt answering his phone. I wish people would keep there word.

That "was" an aswome deal. Congrats

Ive had that happen to me on more than one occassion, the worst was going all the way to cape breton for a couple of sets of snow shoes only to have the guy sell them to someone as i was walking to his door. Great way to waste 5 hours...

Kirsten and Keely, do you have Coke (pin lock) or Pepsi kegs (ball lock)? would two Pepsi kegs fit in there?

Pepsi kegs are about 2-3" taller and 1" less in diameter than a Coke Keg.

For 2 Pepsi kegs, you would need a floor area just slightly less that 9" x 18", I think

If you have 2 Coke kegs and the Pepsi ones will fit, you might be able to trade them on here.

Mark, unfortunately, we're working with Pepsi kegs already. Good thought, though. I didn't realize Coke and Pepsi kegs differed in size. It's just going to have to be a one keg kegerator.

I'm not too put out by it. We have lots of bottles as well as the kegs and I'm brainstorming non-refridgerated ways to achieve cellar temperature without a cellar. If all else fails, and I really want to run more kegs, I'm not sure how opposed I am to room temperature beer. :)

*raises hand* did this setup come with a 30L keg, and if so are you interested in selling it?

Oh no! Sorry to hear that, Jimmy. Kijiji-ing keg stuff is becoming a bloodsport! I've had my fair share of Kijiji sellers sell stuff out from under me, too, and it's always frustrating.

Sorry, Brian, didn't come with one. It just came with the sanke coupler.
