In the market for a large pot/burner to move into all grain brewing. Where is the best place to get these? Kent's has a large Aluminum pot and burner on sale, $59 each. Is aluminum a no no?

I got mine from kent and am mostly quite happy with investment (might get stainless from everwood nowadays but aluminum certainly worked fine)

I use the same burner and used to use that kettle with no issues whatsoever. Just make sure to boil the kettle full of water before using it to build up an oxide layer on the aluminum.

Check with Dave at EBS in a few days when he gets back from vacation, especially if you are also in or near Halifax. You will not regret going with a decent sized stainless steel pot such as what he carries.
