As the title says, I need a new Co2 Regulator. I was turning up my psi to carb, and it wont go over 5 psi....
So heres the plan, if anyone out there has a spare and good Co2 regulator and can spare selling it, Ill take it for a fair price. If nothing is out there, I will be heading to Dave's and picking up a new one thursday (Payday).

Re: Need To Buy Co2 Regulator
I'm thinking about going for a taprite, but still have the old OBK chinese one.
Nova Prime Taproom
Tap 1: Festa Brew Scotch Ale
Tap 2:
"Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chamber of my brain -
Quaintest thoughts - queerist fancies
Come to life and fade away;
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe

I'll probably go Taprite with my next one as well. The cheapie ones are tough to get dialled in accurately I find.

I'll make you a deal, you get the regulators from me, and if it craps out within a year I'll replace/refund your money.jeffsmith wrote:I'll probably go Taprite with my next one as well. The cheapie ones are tough to get dialled in accurately I find.
Little known fact. The Taprite regs might be assembled in the US, but every single component is made in China

Re: Need To Buy Co2 Regulator
I've used the Chinese ones for awhile and had no hesitation to buy another from OBK (awhile ago). However it looks like OBK got a bad batch at one point as there appeared to be alot of problems with them (mine ended up totally U/S, started out very hard to adjust). I have a taprite now and it's nice, but the good cheap ones in the past were also fine.
So as long as you don't get a defective Chinese one, they're pretty good IMHO. I like that the Chinese ones have a pull relief on the regulator (useful for adjusting pressure down).
