I'm looking for a 10 gal cooler to make into a mash tun. Anyone thinking of selling one? Looking used to save money, but if anyone has a suggestion for new cheaper than the ~$90 Rubbermaid Water Cooler from Home Hardware, I'm all ears. Thanks, Scott

25 dollar 48 quart rectangular cooler from walmart works great for me and my brother, though we tend to do 5 gallon batches, I think it would work for most 10 gallon batches as well

I'm looking 10 because besides the fact that I'm noticing my taste in beer is going to require a big mash ton, 17+ lb grains in recipes, I'd like to be future proof for the day we decide to do a 10 gal batch.

Ive done a 23lb grain bill in a 48qt (12 gal) cooler like cornelius's. It was FULL, but worked out great.

I have one of the round plastic falce bottoms for a round cooler. I used it once in a bucket. Phil's product I think. Let me know if you want it.

Thanks, but I'm planning to go with the bazooka filter from OBK.
