Hey guys.

I have a project fridge, its a 1939 GE. I'm going to offer it up to anyone who wants a project to make their own, since I'm too lazy/broke to finish it myself lol (already have 1 project on the go, this one is waiting in the garage). I was going to strip it and put in the guts from a mini-fridge (which I'll throw in with it for free) to make it work and make it a bit more efficient. It is going to be a bit of work, but it's also going to be really sweet when its done. If there's anyone interested in it I'll let it go for $75 with the mini-fridge. If not, I'll post pics when its done by the end of the summer lol.

So, just to be clear to everyone. It doesn't work right now. So let me explain what my game plan for it was:

I was going to take out the current refrigeration system and the compressor (the giant thing in the bottom on the pics where the fridge is open) and put in the system from the mini fridge to use as the refrigeration unit. This will make the bottom part a perfect storage space for a big CO2 tank. The rest should be simple as far as painting and fitting in the taps. Obviously reinsulating it would be a good thing to do while you have it apart, but I don't know what they used in 1939 to insulate fridges so be careful lol

Just wanted to make sure everyone knows that this isn't an easy build, but definitely worth it in the end. I was even thinking of making the fridge door handle into a tap handle and having the rest of taps in line with it... but hey if you buy it its your playground lol.
