$5 each at Walmart

Costco. Looks good to hold maybe 1/2 or 3/4 bag of grain.

I still like the free buttercream icing buckets you can get at Superstore. Takes 3 of them to hold a bag, and they need a good cleaning when you get them, but they're airtight and free!

I picked a few buckets up from Sobeys bakery but found the cleaning to not be worth the 5 bucks I would have spent for a new container..I'm lazy though

Every now and then if you go into the Bulk Barn you can find those little buckets that hold about 20 lbs. They sell them for 50cents to a buck.

Yeah, if I only had a couple if be the same, but I'm up to over 30 bins now and need more. I'm cheaper then I am lazy

I ziploc all my specialty malts in 5lb portion ziploc bags, write the grain type on the bag, and store them inside large Rubbermaid totes. I've got 3 of these totes filled with specialty malts, each holding about 60lbs. Cheap, easy, and minimizes space requirements.

I bought some of these bad boys. Well made too.

Wow, 76L capacity for $4 is impressive. Is this big enough for a full 25kg bag (or maybe more)?

People are looking for different things in bins, but I'd say the most important criteria are to keep bags safe from vermin, and to be easier to organize (especially partials). Most of the bins I've seen in this thread are not strictly air tight, but we know that pre-milled grain can last for months in only their bag (and unmilled for even longer), despite scaremongering.

Yes those bins hold a whole 55lb bag. They are not airtight but the lids fit better than most bins I've looked at.

you can make a seal by laying a garbage bag over the open container before snapping the lid down... the lid should hold the bag down enough to close the seal
