I joined Adam (Cartooncod) as he made a brew on the weekend and I think I have caught the home brewing bug. Is this $85 good price for this starter kit?
This Kit Contains: • 7.8 Gallon Fermenter with Drilled Lid • 2 x 6 Gallon Glass Carboy with Carry Handle • Airlock • Buon Vino Drilled Stopper to Fit Carboy • Triple Scale Hydrometer • Fermometer Thermometer • Long Handled Spoon • Racking Tube • 4 ft Siphon Tubing • Bottle Filler •
Plastic Shut Off Clamp

I'm not exactly sure on the pricing, but you might be better off with the starter kit from Noble Grape. It will come with most of that stuff, if not all of it - but it comes with a Festa Brew kit as well. Worth looking into before jumping on something like this.

Thanks Jimmy. You are Right. Noble Grape have pretty much all this gear (less one carboy) for $89! The festa brew is about $50 and is included, so this is a much better way to go. AND, they have a BOCK Festa Brew.
If anyone has any tips to take that kit and make it more like the Creemore UrBock, I would be greatful.

I would post a copy of the festa instructions here before brewing. IIRC, they have some questionable advice.

Never tried the bock, but here's an overly long review of it!

The bock is my favourite of the festa kits. It's damn tasty!
