Now that I'm brewing in a bag, I have no use for my HLT and boil kettle, and I have for sale:
- 1 72,000 btu propane burner

- 1 kettle with thermometer & tap

- 1 kettle with manifold & tap (no thermometer)
Best offer for one or all
Aargh! I can't make this stupid software display those pictures... I'll update it eventually

I'm interested in the burner. How clean is the flame? Does it suffer from the red flame = black sooty pot issue?
Edit: Is this the Kent burner? I've heard they're pretty good.
Thanks
Dave

Could be - I got it with all the rest of my brewing equipment when somebody else got out of brewing. I never used that burner, though - I got two burners, and like the other one better. I suspect it leaves sooty pots, because all the kegs were sooty.

Sorry for asking in this post but how does that manifold in the bottom of the kettle work? Are there holes in the underside to let the wort out? Does it work well?
