I picked up a car load of glass jugs last night, some clear and some brown. I have way more than I need/have space for so I know right off the bat I want to get rid of 20 (likely more as well). They're all at least a little dirty from sitting in someones basement, but look like they'll come clean. I intend to clean them up before selling them, but thought I'd post now to get the ball rolling and hopefully clear up floor space quickly as I finish cleaning each one. Most don't have caps, a few do but they should probably be tossed - Noble Grape sells ones that are identical. $2 a jug - post interest here.

Hogie - 1 - sent with chalmers
Dirt Chicken - 5 - changed to 3, dropped them off
CorneliusAlphonse - 3 - picking up early August - took 2, picked up
erslar00 - 1 - next NCM pickup?
homebrewcrew - 3 - picking up at fruitfest - didn't show up

Total - 13

I'll take 1!

Like those wine jugs that the cheep wine comes in? if so I'd be interested in a few for making starters

i've frequently considered buying that wine just to get the 3 litre jugs, haha.

i am interested in some of these bottles but i am going to pass as i am far away

No these are more like 4L - they sell very similar ones at Noble Grape - do you still want a few Paul? How many exactly is a few? I'll post pics when I get a chance.

well 2 or 3 would be ideal! but i don't want to take them away from anyone else who needs them.

OK guys - I think I've essentially got these jugs clean(ish). Gave them all a good outside scrub and rinse with PWB. You may want to give an additional soak but most are near spot free. Send me an e-mail to arrange a pick up time. I can probably bring a few to fruitfest but I'll have a lot to bring that day...

are you selling them on kijiji? i saw someone's post selling them for $4 a piece

jayme - it's looking like august 6th ish wwill be when i get back to halifax. is that too late? do you want me to ask my brother to swing by and get mine at some point?

So I brought homebrewcrew's jugs to Fruitfest but as near as i know, you weren't there (a heads up next time would be nice ). Paul - I know you're just down the street. Are you hosting the August meeting? If so, I can probably bring them then. Hogie and erslar00 - I haven't heard anything from you guys. Do you still want the jugs?

Anyhow guys, I'm getting realllllllllllllllly short on space in my apartment so in the next couple weeks if you haven't picked up or arranged to pick up (Liam is the only one who has made arrangements), I'm going to stick them on kijiji and sell them quick hopefully. Anyhow, just a heads up - contact must be made!

I'm out of town right now, but should be back in Halifax Thursday sometime after 9pm, then leaving for NB Friday around noon. Haha so not a very big window there...

if you want to leave them with me, I can distribute them - I work from home now so I'm always here, for the most part.

When are you back from Sackville? I won't be leaving till Tuesday morning.
