Just a hint for people that might not know. Grolsch bottles can be purchased at most recycling depots for 0.25 cents or less a piece. You have to wash the bottles and remove the labels, but better than paying $1 a piece.

Good point - I've never tried that. The only thing is I really don't like the green aspect but I guess if you're careful it shouldn't matter. I wouldn't be surprised if the various people selling them on Kijiji for $10/dozen are just getting them from the depot anyhow.

I have been told by the depots that they have regulars so I would say most of the people on kijiji are getting them from the depots and cleaning them up. I have not had a problem with getting them from the depots.

Ever find Fischer or other brown flip tops at the depot?

I used to grab those now and then. The one's i really liked were the clear 750's that were the old pop bottles from Pete's.
