Does anyone know where one can get 750ml champagne style bottles with bunted bottoms? I know they are good for high carbed beers (saison dupont, for example).

Ideally brown/amber glass, but green will do

Last time I was looking for some, my local bottle/can recycler was the best source. They had all kinds and let me rummage through them to pick out the ones I wanted. Can't remember the cost but think it was $.50 per bottle.

NG has green ones. too spendy for my tastes but would work in a pinch.

Are they usable with high pressure brews? Several of my recipes call for high pressure

How high are you carbing? Most regular beer bottles are good to at least 3.5 volumes unless it's a particularly thin walled one. The thick walled ones like you see champagne sold in can handle well over anything you'd probably want to carb a saison at.

I guess what I'm getting at is that the champagne style bottles are nice because they give you plenty of margin of error if your packaging process isn't perfect, but there's no reason you shouldn't be able to bottle a saison in what most would consider typical homebrew bottles.
