Looking to upgrade to 1 bbl system and have a Spike 30 gallon kettle for sale. If you look at the attachement, you will see that there are two full 1/2" npt fittings in the front. The bottom one is obviously used as a pickup to get liquid out of the kettle. I am using the second port to whirlpool. You could also install a thermometer. The back has one half 1/2" npt fitting that has my temperature probe along with one 1.5" tri-clamp fitting that holds the electric element.
The kettle was bought in July of 2018 and is in excellent condition. Asking $550.

Re: 30 gallon Spike electric Kettle
I am using a 5500 watt element which works well for this size kettle. This is the one I use: https://www.everwoodavebrewshop.com/550 ... /67836.htm. I use an enclosure similar to this one https://www.everwoodavebrewshop.com/TC- ... /67814.htm to connect the element to the kettle. It's not included in the listing but we could always work something out if you really wanted it included.
I'm definitely willing to help you out if you are just getting started with electric brewing.
