looking for a
120v 1600w 15 amp Variac or greater (tho 110/120v is a must)

If anyone has any ideas for sources i'd greatly appreciate it. Only place i can find is China, figured i'd try this on the off chance.

Have you tried local hardware stores. I know most might be just 1500w but you might get lucky and find one that is 1600w.
