It's about $180 USD for 4 gallons from North Country Malt.

Picked up 4L of 75% Phosphoric for $37 tax incl from Bebbington (thanks Nash).

Officially it's not Food Grade, although it's from a food grade source. They repackage it from larger containers and they're not licensed so they can't call it food grade. Good enough for me, but FYI.

I'm gonna get some smaller containers and divy it up. Still planning to get some lactic, and I'll start a group buy thread. But anyone who wants some phosphoric let me know.

I'll probably grab some
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Anyone still looking to split on some phosphoric acid? I picked up a 4 litre bottle this week and I'll never need that much. The price difference we pretty minor between the 1 litre and the 4 litre.

I bought a 4 litre bottle it came to $40. I'd split it up for $10/L if we can find some bottles to use, I don't imagine I'd need anymore than 1 litre. The bottle it came in is HDPE with a number 2 on the bottom. I assume HDPE (vinegar bottle) or glass would work.

Edit: haha, just realized this thread is in the classified section. I just searched for old threads and found this one. I guess I should have listed a price.

Did you get it diluted down to 10%? I when through a letter in a year. We had it diluted to 10% a day they put it into 4 (1l) bottles. If everyone else doesn't need it...I'll take a litre.

No, not 10%, they had it in a 4L bottle at 75% already. They just fill them from a larger drum I think? This was the last one they had ready to go but I think they can fill one in a few minutes while you wait. Here's the bottle, hopefully this is the right stuff.

No problem. How much were you typically adding to you mash?

I guess you could get a 4 litre bottle and add 3 litres of distilled water, I think that would get you down to 4 litres of 18.75%? Or maybe not, It's been a long time since I calculated anything involving pH.
