well for $25 u cant go wrong. if u are simply using them for hops only then u are good!

tried this out tonight. has some nice features such as automatic and manual mode. also the bags it comes with u can size them to fit what u need.
i was able to use both foodsaver and another type of bag not specifically designed for the unit.
the only thing i wish this had was a bag cutter.

Ran through mine tonight too.
It's too bad this one dosnt hold the bag and have a cutter like the Costco one. I'm also going to have to try and find somewhere to buy the marinade container as I've heard good things (comes with Costco one).
Hard not to be worth $35, I picked up the bags at Costco which are also a great deal.

I've always questioned the theory behind vacuum marinating. At work, we use pressure to get liqour penetration into the chips....
