Subject says it all, looking for a bunch of free boxes (broken down already, but I can do that too) for an upcoming move. Anybody know of a good source/method/etc for such a thing?
Cheers!

Hello...If you call Tantallon superstore and ask for the night crew manager after 11 PM and ask him to save some boxes and you will pick up before the store opens they will usually do it for you...Ask for paper or creral boxes...Otherwise we compact all cardboard right away and recycle it...Also banana boxes are great and very strong with handles if you talk to produce...JF

Interestingly enough, current NSLC corporate policy is that they are not allowed to give away boxes (my Dad is an employee). However, some stores don't seem to give a shit and give them away anyhow haha.

interesting - i've gotten boxes from about 5 different locations over last 2 years, and the only time i've ever been given trouble is when they didnt have many, they wanted to keep some for customers who were getting more than a couple bottles.

I gave up looking for free boxes, although it can be done, you will usually only get few boxes at each place (at least here in SJ). I ended up going to a self storage place and buying 20 good big boxes for $20.
Fermenting: Oud bruin/Vienna Pekko SMaSH
On tap: Nelson dry hopped Berliner/ Scottish Heavy 70-/ NE IPA
