Wanted: Kegging equipment

Post by Cobalt » Sat Dec 15, 2012 6:13 pm

Hi peeps, Looking to make the leap from Grolsch bottles to keg setup.

I have 4 Corny kegs, Coke pin locks.

What I need are the connectors for at least 2 kegs, 1 for my Kap'n Krolsh that I will keep on tap, and 1 for whatever else I decide :D I Have Now :)

I need a Co2 tank I Have Now :)
I need a regulator for the Co2 tank I Have Now :)

The hose and beer taps as well however I can get those after. I Have Now :)

Now all I need is a decent size deep freeze to convert to a Keezer and im set :)

A Thank You to Downs for the regulator, it shall do nicely and it was nice to meet you.
A Thank You to RobD to pointing out the connectors, Chalmers grabbed them and I got what I needed out of it, so it worked out for the both of us. And It was nice to meet you as well Chalmers, decent keezer too btw.

So update as of Jan 27, 2013 - I now have my kegs, Co2 tank, the lines, and the sexy perlick taps :) Just the deep freeze left to go.

My budget is $60 or free lol, so i dont mind waiting till i spot it on kijiji :)

I did too, Cobalt. If you'd just like the pin locks, I'm just after the ball locks.

That was me. You just wanted the pin locks, correct?
And if you tell me you only need 2 in and 2 out, I'd love to keep the other in and out to keep the configuration like he's got (dual headed for guest kegs).

Jimbo, Cobalt and I were able to make a deal on the connectors.

As for the kijiji tank, I sent that along to someone last week, so I'd be surprised if it was still available. But good looking out.

Re: Wanted: Kegging equipment - Just Co2 tank needed now

Post by Cobalt » Thu Jan 03, 2013 9:39 pm

Hey, so I was talking to a Jason at scuba rays today, on windmill rd in burnside. I was just in the area for work and decided to see if they had any Co2 tanks, they dont. HOWEVER, he said hold on a sec, made a short phone call, and can get me a brand new 10lb for $120. This is the best ive seen so far, NG is $150, OBK is $130 (on sale right now for $109, but with shipping and taxes brings it up to $140)

Anyone care to comment, is this a decent deal?

Sounds good from here.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:
