15.5gallon kegs in wolfville

Post by Garak » Fri Mar 18, 2011 4:37 pm

I just contacted a guy with 7 15.5 gallon sanke kegs for $50 each in wolfville. I'm interested in two of them. Anyone interested in driving out to pick them up?

That price seems a bit high. Do you need them right away? I got a couple from NASH you can have at $25 each, until you can find a better deal and just replace them.

I'd offer $25 and take $30 at the worst.

I'd be interested, especially if a lower price could be negotiated, if the guy has legit ownership of the kegs. Not a big fan of keg theft. Do you know how/why he has these kegs?

lol, you're never going to get a straight answer on that one. IIRC, Olands/Labatts only scrap their kegs, so 99.999% of what you see being used probably belongs to them technically...or so they would say...

The price is down to $30 now. Its just a bit too far out of the way to go for two kegs.

Do we know if these have chimes? I'd be interested in a couple, but am unable to pick them up. But willing to pay to play.

I think that all the rubber chined types are all 15 gallon (Molson too). I don't believe any 15.5 have rubber... :geek:
