I just put in an order for a refractometer. Probably be here in two weeks or so. I am trying to brew up a couple of batches to share with friends who will be leaving at the end of August, and since I have changed a lot of my set up, it would be nice to be able to monitor gravity more closely as I brew (to add water, etc., if my evap rates are off). Anyone have a refractometer they won't be using for August?
Also: I think I remember that there was some extra silicone hose from the Brewhardware group buy. I'd love to grab about 6-10 feet of it, if possible.
