looking at purchasing this keg and etc. New to kegging what should I look for when I go look at it?

make sure to ask if it holds pressure.... then it's just a general visual inspection.

Dings/dents are normal for used kegs BTW.

You may want to change the O-rings on the keg if someone's got a set you can use... that way you're starting fresh.

You might want to ask where the regulator came from (just to know if it was bought used).
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

Does anyone have any advice on where to purchase a dual regulator for my tank ? I want to be able to use my beer-gun for soda, but not have to unhook everything in the process. Currently have the generic no frills stinger from NG that i got for Christmas years ago.

I haven't purchased one, but I believe ontariobeerkegs has good prices on them.

I got mine from kegconnection.... but (as Jimmy eluded to) the one @ Ontario Beer Kegs is also an option (and is even currently on sale)

Are you using carbonated water and syrups... or is the whole keg one type of pop?
if you're just using carbonated H20, a couple of those bayonettes in the dip tube will do wonders to keep your length of serving line down.
