Mechanics

Post by amartin » Wed Aug 05, 2015 10:19 am

Hey,

Does anybody have a trustworthy mechanic in Halifax or Dartmouth they'd want to recommend? My guy just closed and there's no way I'm taking my car back to the dealer.

Are you looking for a mechanic that runs their own shop, or a good mechanic at any shop?

I'd think either one would be good.

Craig's isn't too far from work, that may be a good option. Thanks.

Jim Rogers at Mighty Auto on Lady Hammond Rd. Not only a great mechanic but just one of the best people I know. Jim is the manager, he will take care of you. Tell him a fellow beer brewer sent you

I don't know any Hyundai techs,Give Mighty a try like Matthew said. I haven't heard anything bad about them. Ask that a licensed tech work on it. They have a good warranty policy at Mighty.

if you dont mind going to Lower Sackville, ask for Dale at the Canadian tire. That shop had a weird schedule though, ie their techs work monday, wednesday, thursday one week (long days) and then Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, the next so if you need a specific day of the week you may have to wait untill the following week to get a specific person
