Lelit PL41TEM Espresso Machine w/PID & Gauge

Post by Jimmy » Fri May 22, 2015 8:25 pm

Selling my Lelit PL41TEM v2 Espresso machine. I've had this machine for 2 years now, and it's worked great - no issues. It's a great machine to get into pulling some good espresso shots, and steaming milk for capps, lattes, etc.

-Also comes with the custom tamper that I had made locally..it's pretty badass :D
-Set of 6 espresso cups/saucers/spoons
-Milk frothing pitcher
-2 cappuccino cups
-Double basket
-Single basket
-Blank basket for cleaning

Machine is the same as this one:
http://www.1st-line.com/store/pc/Lelit- ... -p7279.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Features:
• 250 ml brass boiler helps keep a constant water temperature and facilitate the espresso coffee extraction. Please note that during an espresso extraction, the incoming cold water will reduce the temperature in the PID display. This is normal.
• 1000 watt heating element for quicker reaction time when cold water enters the boiler.
• Three-way solenoid valve allows immediate removal of the portafilter immediately after the espresso extraction has ceased (or when the pump switch in coffee mode is turned off).
• Polished stainless steel body and frame can not rust.
• 57 mm filterholder to be used either with ground coffee or coffee pods (hint: pods do not really work well on this machine).
• Security thermostat and security valve for a better pressure control.
• PID boiler temperature controller allows temperature of the boiler to be programmed for different coffees.
• In steam mode, the temperature shown on the PID display will be higher than the programmed temperature.
• External manometer, or brew pressure gauge, to check in real time the brew pressure created by the resistance created by the coffee grind fineness, the tamping pressure, and the amount of ground coffee in the basket.
• Professional multi-directional steam wand that enables you to prepare creamy cappuccinos.
• Stainless steel drip tray cover and plastic drip tray are removable for easy cleaning.
• Power switch on back of unit.
• Pump switch is to activate the pump for coffee or hot water mode.
• Three way switch allows user to select espresso coffee mode, hot water dispensing mode, and steam mode.
$475 for everything (grinder not included )

Yeah, what Liam said.

I held off for a week or so on Nash's...really didn't have a reason to upgrade, but also couldn't pass up the deal

Ah, I missed that. Nice Jimmy. So the real question is what did Nash upgrade to? Aside from that perdy new brewhouse.
