Wanted: grain mill

Post by mindless2 » Sun Apr 12, 2015 6:52 pm

Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has a grain mill the may want to sell. (I'm in NB)
I'm new brewer been using a rolling pin!
Been looking at mills, but a new one isn't in the pockebook right now.

Also if someone has a better suggestion than a rolling pin, please let me know...

Cheers
Todd

Hey Todd,

There are a couple of options if you don't have a mill - you could have your grain pre-milled from your source, or you could find someone in your area who may be willing to mill your grain for you for a homebrew. Used mills are hard to come by, unless you are lucky enough to find someone who is getting out of the hobby.

Todd, I have a Victorio VKP 1012 that is surplus to requirements. Drop me a line if interested.

A food processor will do the trick, although it's a tedious process (but likely not nearly as tedious as using a rolling pin).
