This was from the Beersmith website...although I changed the Yeast

It's a nice summer beer, hops give off (what I discribe as) grapefruit flavors

Gotta love Amarillo.

IMO each recipe needs it's own topic.

We can't change a thread into a Sub-Forum, but I'll see if I can create a Subforum. Folks can ignore it if they're not interested.
I'll try and move this thread, and then rename it, alrighty?

Still making this one?
Nova Prime Taproom
Tap 1: Festa Brew Scotch Ale
Tap 2:
"Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chamber of my brain -
Quaintest thoughts - queerist fancies
Come to life and fade away;
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe

I made this for the first time last year. By mistake I had used the wrong hops in my previous recipe so ended up using EKG instead of Amarillo. Turned out great. Since I used the wrong hops I had to try it again this year with Amarillo. It also turned out great, however I prefer EKG I think. Could also be my execution, still working on recipe repeatability. :)

Either way, great recipe!

I have a pound and a half of Amarillo that I'm needing to use soon. I'm thinking Massive DIPA with Amarillo and Cascade and use the rest on this.
