2nd Annual Sack Vegas Summer Kick Off

Stay tuned on when you can show up to get tuned at the 2nd Annual Sack Vegas Summer Kick Off.

So the 2nd Annual Sack Vegas Summer Kick Off will be TBD. Day before Summer officially begins. Same antics as last year. Great People, Great Beer, Great Food. Well carry on the festivities until we deem it's time to pass out.

Like last year it will probably start anytime after 1pm and continue on until we are done. This year I'm hoping to get use out of the washer boxes, but it's entirely optional.

As for beer there will be an abundance. I'll have my 2 (maybe 3) tap jockey box available. Food will be potluck style so just bring what you like. (Becky your on those Bacon cookies). As a note we have some guests who have an allergy to Gluten, so if you are bringing a gluten free dish or reduced beer, please label it so they know.

Note: Smash beer exchange will take place that day (see the smash tread).
We will have a few Jockey Boxes on hand along with a ton of ice. If you have kegs, Growlers or Bottles that works.
Please let me know if you can volunteer a jockey box.
Food we will do a potluck style. So bring what you want but enough to share. We do have a few Gluten Sensitive members so label your food accordingly so they know.

I'd like to get maybe a washer tournament going. If you have a set of washers post it up. Be fun to get some games in.
Festivities will probably start around 1 or shortly after and will go until we are ready to pack it in.
Will have a fire in the evening, but bring a chair for yourself as I only have so many.

The 6th is a little tricky for me. Can probably make it out for an hour, or so, early on in the day to drop off my SMaSH beer.

@keith: Are you Ok with holding my share of the SMaSH beers for a few days after your party? Pretty sure they won't all be there by the time I leave.

I am away at a conference the weekend of the 6th so I won't be able to make it. However, I am looking for someone to mule some SMaSH beers to Keith's for me, and possibly bring some back to the peninsula for me. Please PM me if you might be able to help. Thanks!

Hey Gents,
We are just over a week away. Can you fill out the poll on the first page if you are attending. Also if you are coming can you post if you are bringing Growlers, Pin Lock or Ball Lock kegs.

If anyone has a jockey box they can bring that would be great. Mine (ball lock) is in rough shape until I get it rebuilt, but could use it in a pinch.

I'm going to be buying a box of wings to do on the grill. Let us know what you are planning on bringing for food so we can try to coordinate this a bit.

Once again, feel free to show up anytime after 1, and this will go til we are done. This will be a rain or shine event. (PS who has that beautiful tent?)

I'm tempted to just fill off Growlers of my beers as they are needed. Save the Jockey box taps for those who really need it.

Due to the short notice, it seems like many people already have plans. From what I can see there only seem to be a few that are available. Can you let me know if you are attending. If there isn't enough interest I may try and reschedule this for sometime in July.
