Bugger

It would be nice if one of the breweries/brewpubs/craft beer bars, partnered with Murphy's for an evening's beer cruise on a Harbour Queen, with some good beers on tap.

Why not a Harbour Hopper Pub Crawl? Designated driver and rolling in style all in one.

Sounds like fun. I have lots of those 1L SS drink bottles to take lemonade and stuff on the Harbour hopper ;)

Well, you could re-tool it as a Brewnoser Crawl.

Also if all else fails, we could always smuggle beer on the ferry.

I like that. We could spend the afternoon on the top deck, drinking beer and just going too and fro.

On a scale of 1 to Illegal. Where does this stand? Do we follow pirate rules where we are on the open water?

I'd be up for a beer cruise, but not on the Harbour Hopper. I find those converted amphibious military vehicle tour operations incredibly obnoxious.

All for the tall ship Silva with music and partnering with a local establishments to ensure a selection of craft beer. It would make a great event to coincide with the Seaport Beer Festival, perhaps we should look at turning it into a beer week as seen in other cities.

If you ever go on the harbour hopper, those university students give an excellent history on Halifax through their microphones as you go around. My take on it was the whole city was built up based on beer drinking.

That sounds like a super plan. Can we make it happen?

I am sworn to death about never going in the Harbour Shopper. The narrative is mostly wrong and focusses on places who pay for product placement type bullshit lies.

If you've never been on it, how do you know that though.

Clearly you've never been downtown in Halifax when it's gone by :D

Those who work downtown have to put up with the same droning bullshit every half hour all summer long. It's a combination of paid shilling and specious history broadcast well beyond the confines of the actual vehicle over a shitty PA system. Calling it 'obnoxious' would be understating it.
