For those who can't get enough of beer tasting (let's face it...all of us) a few of us are having a beer tasting on Friday. Anyone interested PM me, chalmers, or XmonikerX for details. I'm just gonna copy and paste chalmers post about it from BeerAdvocate here:

Halifax BA Tasting - Friday Jan. 28
Hello again Halifax (and environs) BAs!
After the success of our first two BA evenings, we are going ahead with another one next Friday, Jan. 28, at 7pm.
It will be held on the peninsula, please BM Moniker for the exact location details.
For those interested, we have shared several commercial beers from near and far, recent and aged, as well as a few homebrews. We are aiming for the same again, with each person bring a bomber or two (or equivalent) that are a bit special. Whether it be something you picked up while away, an aged Barleywine, or your favourite homebrew, all are welcome. And in the spirit of avoiding too many repeats, feel free to post the style of beer you'll be bringing, but preferably not the exact beer (for a bit of a surprise).
I'll bring along a Belgian IPA and a Rye IPA.
See you Friday!
