Sorry if it sounds like we're shitting on your parade but...... fuck the snooty wine tasting and save a hundred or two at the same time! There will be a shit-ton of world class beer there that you may find in places like eBay for a c-note or two per pop. Beer is the new wine, actually that saying is getting old now. Oh yeah and it's all basically free .
:headbang:
There's a few problems there, Nash: the "wine tasting" is anything but snooty - it's like picking the most crowded session of the Seaport beerfest, and then tripling the density; last year I _did_ "save a hundred or two" (at a 10% discount on every bottle); but most importantly - where's the conflict? The wine fair runs two or three days! Just pick another day.
Currently on tap: Whiter Shade of Pale!

Time to start thinking food. Due to our incredible success with gourmet out of this world burgers, I'm throwing that out there. We can go lamb, beef, pork, whatever......

OK, it's lamb burgers, and I'll count on people to bring some sides. Can we all handle $5/person for those eating? Can I assume all the attendees will have a burger?

I'll have a few more prizes as well for attendees. All food related again. We all have enough beer related toys. Rockbottom is donating some swag as well.
