I missed someone waving at me who was a brewnoser who vaguely meets your description (so the wife says).. I wasn't trying to be rude, I was just in a daze for some reason.

Also, Garrison's Comet IPA from the cask was quite tasty (once it settled from foam to a liquid).

Re: Seaport Beerfest
We ended up doing a recap of the Friday night session via google+ hangout. The video description has timecodes to click to skip to the different topics.
But overall same comments as above, except that the weather was better

Was there sat night found it quite busy pretty much on a ipa hunt. Sad to see Gahan didn't have any Vienna smash left from earlier this summer. Liked the monkey fisted ipa tried garrisons comet ipa was awesome didn't last long. Finished off the night with nash's fathom ipa first time I tried it. Which led to a walk up the hill For a pitcher of it at rock bottom to end the night had a good time, wish there was a better selection of craft beers down here.

Re: Seaport Beerfest
Saturday night was packed and the rain was on and off. Being my first time the event was good and tried a lot of good beers. Zero chance of getting a cab after beerfest was over so it was a small walk down to lower deck in the rain. All in all a good night, next day was complete hell as me and the women drove to cape breton to catch the nfld ferry. Would have been good too have some recovery time.
