Sorry, Mark, but I didn''t receive a message from you. Can you send it again?

I've hosted before and am willing to again. We just need to settle on a date. September 27 is the only date that has been mentioned. Those who have a conflict haven't proposed an alternative. Shall we settle on September 27?

I can't do the 27th, and know that Liverdance can't either. The weeks before or after look to be clear for me (unsure of his schedule), but I don't want to muddy the waters because of just a couple of us! We'll live vicariously through pictures and drunken posts. :)

Since I'll be at some joker's wedding, 27th is a no go for me as well.

All sounds good. How about the 20th Sept?

Oktoberfest in Germany starts on that day (20th Sept) this year. http://www.oktoberfest.de/en/article/Ab ... 2014/2698/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I am fine with any date - make 'er happen. If would be a shame to have some of the key Brewnosers miss this epic event over a silly thing like a wedding :lol:

My vote is the 20th X)
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

I created a poll, for what it's worth.I allowed more than one option to be picked.

I can commit to September 20th. Shall we settle on that or let this drag out for another month?

Has a location been decided? Or should we just brown bag it at some random park?

We could ask the kids which forest has the best drinking spots

Sad that I'm going to miss Hoptoberfest this year, going to be away on vacation then. Will have to replace Hoptoberfest with a random weekend trip to Halifax with nights split between RB and SW.

Halifax peninsula, west end (Ardmore subdivision, if you know the city well). I'll send out the actual address to newbies in September.
