Also, I'm still planning on smoking a big hunk of round roast for the event. No need for cash or anything as round is dirt cheap and I got it on sale! :headbang:

Be cool if somebody brought a pulled pork for the event as well.. some other folks bring some buns and some sides and we have a feast.

We can start on a 'who brings what' list early next week (when folks are more committed to be able to come or not).

Anyone interested in splitting a Märzen double batch? I'd plan on lagering it over the Summer and serving it at our 2nd annual Oktoberfest party.

This sounds excellent. I'm reconfiguring that weekend as we speak in order to fit this in. I won't be brewing as my gear is still in PEI until the 12th, but I'll try to bring something for sharing.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.

Looks like I'll be attending. What can I bring? I won't be brewing but I'm willing to watch/help out.

I was going to wait until we get a few more 'confirmed' folks (X) before starting up a 'what grub to bring list'.. maybe on Monday I'll throw that into the mix.

I probably won't do up a single batch on my own but would like to get in on a collaboration brew with somebody. I have an IPA and Pale Ale (both hoppy) freshly brewed but I'll do any style really (except lager.. ha, don't have the facilities to lager).

Would you consider a BIAB demo. I need to see the process before I buy in.

It's been my experience that you might as well pick a number yourself for attendance.

I'd like to do a colab-o-brew with given that I can get my equipment to and from, unless there is gear there already. I don't have a car, only bicycle.. so moving that stuff just can't work without an auto.

Should this party be Mexican or Spanish-themed for Cinco De Mayo?

Now I have Cake "Mexico" in my head.

What do you have? Can we do a 10 gallon and split? If so, I can probably go get you in the morning and then we can figure out a way to get it back at night (somebody driving going your way..) or the next day.

Sure, as long as folks consider a mexican inspired rub on smoked beef "Mexican", ha

I have a chipotle cheesecake recipe. It's actually more of a spread. I think I'll make that. Have some Vienna Lager for brew.

Not sure if I really want to brew, but I'd be willing to bring a bag and help out where needed.

Dont' want to start 'too' early.. maybe folks that want to brew (which at this point might be Dirt Chicken and I.. and maybe Homebrewcrew and Hogie.. ?) can start a noon.. and others can show up mid-afternoon? Though to be honest I don't really care if everybody comes at noon. So let's just say, anytime after noon?

I say we plan to eat at 7 (too early and everybody is ready for bed at 8!)?

Are you still selling those bags Jimmy? If so, I might be interested in one big enough for a keggle

Ok folks, so week away. Details:

Location: My place (PM for location)
Time: May 5/12 - 12PM until May 6th..
Theme: Lagers (though to be honest, ales and lagers welcome.. I only have ales!) combined with Cinco de Mayo (Mexican!)

Potentially some brewing happening, if you'd like to do a collaboration brew, post up and find a brewing buddy. I am estimating (guessing) there will be between 20 and 30 people?

Food, started a list so we don't have 3 bowls of gauc! Google doc here (open to edit for all with link);

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... mw5a3BjS3c" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I added a few suggestions to go along with tacos with my smoked eye of round roast.. but bring whatever you all would like, doesn't need to be Mexican. Propane grill available if needed. An extra cooler and/or ice is handy too.

I will try and take a screenshot of the table as folks fill it in so the info is actually in the thread:
