Not sure if I can make Sunday... but if the date does change, I will still bring the beans.

Excellent. What is the starting time? Is there any more information that needs to be on the Hoptoberfest web site?

I think 3 pm shall be the start time.

Off to NG for a few days - any questions, use e-mail, not forum or PM.

I am coming. Hoping to have a keg....

I was talking about doing a couple chickens in my Egg, but you say you have lots of meat?

Maybe some cheese, then?

Did we still want corn? If so, how many? I'll need to order it today.

I think I'd like to have some corn Bobby, any idea on the price? Jeff, I'm not opposed to either. It's possible that we could be short on meat, as it's been hard to get definite answers out of everyone.

I pan on doing a pork shoulder. Pulled. Do you have a rough number of people attending?

OK, if Nick is confirmed on the pork, cheese would be great from you Jeff. As far as numbers, I'd plan on 30. Could be more or less, but I gave up on trying to get firm commitments. I'll have brisket, and there will be beans and chili, so I don't think a massive one will be required. Or if you have a full 10-12 lb shoulder, you could smoke it all and keep 1/2 for yourself. Jmac is making a great slaw recipe to go on top of pork, brisket buns.

X, what are the details on this? Are we paying for food upon arrival? I'm not sure how that all ended up?
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

$5 a dozen. Is a couple dozen enough? I can get 3 dozen if we want to be sure, but don't want overkill.

No money necessary this time, although I would like to be able to make a nominal charge next year just to cover people's costs.

Get 3 dozen. If we only east two dozen, I'll pay you for the third dozen, as I will eat them.

Very good. Something I haven't worked out is music. I don't keep up with it much anymore, just listen to the radio, so any volunteers for getting together some tunes would be great. Also need some volunteers to grab ice on Saturday. I'll be pretty busy getting things ready. I'll have one, maybe two coolers here.

I'm sort of a brewnosers forum neophyte, but I might drop by just to say hi, and introduce myself (as I won't be able to stay long). I live on Vienna at Dublin, so it seems silly not to! I'll bring a few bottles of my "Apple Brown", which is a good September quaff.

What's 'all day'? We'll be going well into the night if it's anything like last event. Although 8am comes early on Sunday...

It looks like they are aware we are coming, so anytime after the doors open I would imagine.

10 am or so. They open at 11 and it'll be better to get the lugging in and out done before that :)

Is there a loading zone to park in? I don't want to haul a bunch of full coolers all the way back to the parkade.
