Re: Spring Lagerfest
I'll grab some ice.. how many bags should i bring? it isn't too warm out yet so i was thinking 4?
I would bring some folding chairs but it would mean i couldn't drive people out. As it stands, I will have two free seats in the car, anyone need a lift out and back from the peninsula? i've got a DD.. haha. i'll likely head out for 3 or so, and come back in ...sometime
edit: or Kyle can get some too. doenst matter to me

TimGr and I were willing to be assistants on that, or another brew, but won't be taking any wort home with us, so someone else needs to decide on what recipe to use. I can probably help with items, if I'm warned early enough (ie, tonight). I'll be there from 2 (or earlier if that doesn't bug TimG too much) until 4 at the latest.

I was thinking just one bag per person should be fine, it's not that hot out yet. I might want a seat, still not sure what I'm doing yet for transportation........CorneliusAlphonse wrote:I'll grab some ice.. how many bags should i bring? it isn't too warm out yet so i was thinking 4?

I've signed up for a Mexican dish (sorry, Chalmers, but I couldn't find any loose Mexicans to bring on such short notice). I'll also bring a bag of ice, presumably for injuries after falling off the deck. Should I bring a keg of beer (assuming that it's ready) or just bottles? If the former, will CO2 be provided?
Liam, may I get a ride with you?

I could use a ride from Dartmouth if anyone is going out in the early afternoon. Or if someone on the peninsula has space I can probably get a lift that far with someone else.

You take my seat DC, the day is pretty unsettled tomorrow for a while, and I'll get a drive out myself.

Wow.. you guys are really heating this thread up last minute! Ok;
Ice; Liam = 2 bags, Dirt Chicken = 1 cooler + 1 bag that should be good for ice
Kyle; If you want to bring a keg, sounds good! We can swap the CO2 around. Try harder on the loose Mexicans!
Chalmers; Earlier the better! Maybe my posts were a bit confusing, but I'm going to start a BIAB ESB (acronyms
anyone) around noon.. and then yourself and Tim Gregory are going to help keeping an eye on it, finishing.. voluntold!
Chairs; If somebody can bring some 'without' sacrificing rides for attendants.. feel free, otherwise we'll manage. I have a few.

I'll try and bring my portable keg charger with, just in case, probably pick up a few co2 charges from NG ( regular customer btw ) so that we might be able to tap more kegs without swapping co2.TimG wrote:Wow.. you guys are really heating this thread up last minute! Ok;

I had dinner with him last night and indeed he is. He said his mother was just back from Florida so he had to go up and see her - I pointed out that his calendar was seriously screwed because he has to go up there next weekend for Mother's day. His response was something along the lines of "Fuck, no! I thought that was two or three fucking weeks later."mr x wrote:Nash was talking about heading up to Amherst for the weekend IIRC.

I`m driving from Dartmouth, probably around 2 or so, depending on how productive the morning is. I can fit 3 people comfortable, or 4 cramped.

Re: Spring Lagerfest
I've offered to give TimGr a lift, as we are both going to help/observe Tim with his BIAB. Anyone on the peninsula who wants a lift around noon, EMAIL me (no PMs).
I've kinda screwed my end of the deal up: I forgot that EZ makes a killer Guac, so she and I whipped up a pound of it this morning. And I'll bring little pitas to dip with. Hopefully this will still count as a side.
I'll also bring a 20-lb CO2 tank with a dual manifold, so probably won't need to worry about keg chargers.
