A city should be lively with noise, excitement and commotion IMHO, but maybe I've been stuck in the country too long. :(

Totally agree. But you can't hear the "natural" noises of the city over the fucking Harbour Hopper droids loudly reading the same script every half hour. KnowwhutImean?
